-= Ninmenjushin: Tsukuyomi =-

Finally got back to this! Now I have all three Great Yokai Gods drawn and posted.

Tsukuyomi, the first Tsukiryu (moon dragon), isn't spoken of as much as his two spiritual siblings. Perhaps it's because he prefers to keep to himself rather than try to impress people. Whatever the case, he busies himself with the art of crafting - mostly weapons and armor. It's rumored that the wisdom he did share inspired human weapon-smiths, like Goro Nyudo Masamune, on their knowledge of weaponry that channels mystical power.

In the year 1130, he was the first of the Three Yokai Gods to be ambushed by Muramasa, the mad smith that created the Akumashi. Even with all his gear, Tsukuyomi didn't have what it took to fight off his attacker. So, he could only retreat into a secluded space, set up a pillar-like vessel with a Tsukiryu born from his power, record a message into it, and send it to a loving human couple in Midrealm. What exactly Muramasa did to him after that is unknown, but Tsukuyomi was never seen again.

-= SOCIAL =-
- Pros: Honest, calm, serene, super-intelligent, talented, selfless
- Cons: Taciturn, antisocial, uninterested in most things, a little condescending
- Likes: Building things, completing projects
- Dislikes: Social interaction, idiocies, loud disruptions

-= COMBAT =-
- Skills: Tsukiryu-jutsu, passive anti-gravity control, adept in multiple weapon styles
- Gear: Yasakani no Magatama, Lunar Arms, scanning visor, possibly many more weapons
- Powers: Time and gravity manipulation
- Force: Yasakani no Magatama

-= LUNAR ARMS =-
- With his right arm lost at some point, he replaced it with an apparatus that connects to several different prosthetics via a special magnetic connection. He can swap these Lunar Arms on the fly, even in combat, allowing him to shift his battle strategy.
- Lunar Arm= Palm: The only Lunar Arm that actually resembles a hand. However, it has a concussive ki barrel in its palm, allowing it to fire bullets and waves of ki - the best choice for long-range combat.
- Lunar Arm= Blade: A large blade, obviously. It's big and durable, so it's also good as a shield. Its edge emits ki in a thin razor, enhancing its cutting power. While Amaterasu and Susano'o got their personal swords engraved and decorated, Tsukuyomi didn't care to do the same.
- Lunar Arm= Drill: This drill-like Lunar Arm has a hard tip, allowing it to pierce things that even Lunar Arm= Blade can't. What's more, the drill can create a vacuum effect, so Tsukuyomi can use it to suck in the air in front to lunge around quickly - in layman's terms, it's also good for fast movement.

-= Force: YASAKANI NO MAGATAMA, Remote Combat Drones =-
- Tsukuyomi commands three drones referred as "Magatama", which float around him freely.
- He can send these Magatama out to remotely patrol distant areas, or to attack foes from multiple angles with diving strikes or ki blasts.
- He can telepathically see whatever his Magatama have in their sights, so that nothing can escape his attention.

-= INSPIRATIONS =-
- Tsukuyomi-no-Mikoto (Shinto lore)
- Jor-El (DC Comics)
- Houka Inumuta (Kill La Kill)
- Aria (Killer Instinct 2013)
- Tony Stark (Marvel Comics)
- Zenyatta (Overwatch)
- Mega Man Volnutt (Tatsunoko vs. Capcom)
- Gurren Lagann (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann)
- Doctor Strange (Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3)

-= TRIVIA =-
- I literally considered the three staple fighting styles when coming up with Tsukuyomi's three Lunar Arms: power (Blade), rushdown (Drill), and zoning (Palm).
- It's comparatively easy to come up with backstory for versions of Amaterasu and Susano'o, because they have more lore behind them. With Tsukuyomi...not as much. I guess that's a big reason why I made my version of him a recluse.
