3DS Stages?
Filter the chaff

So I take it most of you are aware of Adam Howden's tweet? About him busy with a lot of video game voice work lately? This might give more plausibility to Shulk...

Anyhow, rumor time. This has a ballsy wager that has three days to be worth our time.

-= Petilil =- (DISTRUST!)

- Shulk and Mewtwo are in. Falco will be revealed this week.
- Lucas is cut.
- King K. Rool is a boss hazard on a Gangplank Galleon stage.

= DISTRUST! =
- Falco was not shown this week!

(EDIT) So there's one day left for the above rumor list to stave off death. Meanwhile, another has turned up.

-= Ronolab =- (DISTRUST!)

The story is that this guy got an e-mail reply from someone at Nintendo of America, going by "Ronolab" (Kevin Anderson).

- Ridley is the stage boss of Pyrosphere. He attacks with his tail and with plasma breath. He can be hurt anywhere, but his open mouth is more vulnerable.
- King K. Rool is an Assist Trophy, unlocked through beating Classic Mode with DK and Diddy. He throws his crown and summons raining cannonballs.
- Mewtwo returns, heavily revamped. Shadow Ball and Shadow Claw are returning moves (Is he talking about Mewtwo's front air attack?), with Aura Sphere as a Crash Bomber-esque side special.
- Jigglypuff and Mr. Game & Watch are returning. Jigglypuff's Rest has a custom variation with a wider hitbox, but less power. The design seen in Pac-Man's trailer is Mr. Game & Watch's final design.
- While Snake isn't returning, he still appears as a trophy.
- Chrom appears. The only moves he has in common with Marth and Ike area chargeable neutral special and a Counter down special. Side special is Dual Strike.
- Shulk appears, with fairly low foot speed. With the Monado, he can unleash all sorts of powerful sword and magic attacks. (They're called ether!)
- Karate Joe appears. His neutral special is the bomb punch, similar to Sheik's Burst Grenade.
- Takamaru appears. He can use throwing items and the Tanooki.
- Dark Pit appears, but with completely different moves from Pit. For instance, he Silver Bow moves slower and has KO potential. He also uses weapons from his fights, like the Dark Pit Staff and the Ogre Club.
- Bandana Dee appears. He uses the spear for various attacks. He's described as a glass cannon, meaning he's probably very good in all areas except endurance.
- Mach Rider appears, apparently getting a reboot on the Wii U, titled Mach Rider U. He apparently has two stances - on foot, and on his bike. On foot, he can deal damage more efficiently.

= DISTRUST! =
- Chrom is part of Robin's Final Smash.

(EDIT) Sine Petilil's no longer a trustworthy source, here's another rumor list to sate your appetite.

-= Bandai-Namco worker =- (DISTRUST!)

- All Brawl characters (save for Snake, Lucas, and Wolf) are returning.
- Ness, Captain Falcon, Luigi, R.O.B., Mr. Game & Watch, and Falco are all unlockable.
- There are 4 newcomers left to be seen.
- Shulk will be revealed in an event soon.
- Chrom is in.
- Prison Island and N's Castle are new stages.
- Lucina is an Assist Trophy.
- Any character that's been in an 8-bit, 16-bit, or 32-bit game will have an Assist Trophy based on their retro self (like 8-bit Mario).
- Amiibo learns from playing against human players. You can upload Amiibo data online via Miiverse, and can download others' Amiibo fighters.
- On the Wii U, you can make your own custom Event Matches and upload them for others to try.
- 3DS and Wii U versions will have drastically different gameplay styles - the 3DS is more casual-based, and the Wii U is more competitive-based.
- The Wii U version comes out mid-December.

= DISTRUST! =
- Chrom is part of Robin's Final Smash.

(EDIT) ...Another one.

-= Ned Bourne =- (DISTRUST!)

- Impa (Hyrule Warriors) is in. Her inclusion was decided similarly to how Greninja was.
- Paper Mario is in, with 12 of his partners - Parakarry, Flurrie, Yoshi, Bombette, Goombario, Kooper, Vivian, Bobbery, Lakilester, Koops, Goombella, and Watt. Apparently, all of his special move variations are unique.
- Chrom is in. Lucina was going to be a tag partner, but that isn't happening now.
- Matthew is in, representing Golden Sun. His image has two Venus Djinni with him. They might be involved with his special moves or his Final Smash.
- The only veterans not found are Squirtle, Ivysaur, Wolf, R.O.B., and Snake.

= DISTRUST! =
- Chrom is part of Robin's Final Smash. Lucina is an alt of Marth.

The worst thing is there are people out there who would like to see Dark Pit playable because "he'd be SO different from Pit".
