UL - Fengzhu

Another Urban Legends character, it's Fengzhu, consort of Queen Melissa!

This young man was a simple gardener from Blitzerph's rural town of Choir, and was respectful of the bees that came for pollen. One day, though, he was framed for a heinous crime - and worse, nothing his attorney did could convince the court! What else the courtroom wasn't aware of, though, was the brutal torture that he was taken away to, losing his eyes, his forearms, and other things.

He would have been six feet under had a mysterious bee-like demon, Queen Melissa, not flown in and rescued him. Whisking him away to the mysterious Melissa Woods, she healed the man by bestowing some of her own powers to him. This turned him into an envoy of justice and guardian of families - the insectoid ninja Fengzhu!

Fengzhu is light but nimble. In the air, he can buzz around with retractable bee wings or zoom toward his foe with a homing air dash. Thanks to Melissa's blessing, he can manifest spirit bugs from the honeycombs in his arms (yes, IN his arms) for various attacks. Some may appear independently of him, some follow and attack alongside him. He can also make four different kinds of flowers grow for various effects.

The Roly Poly rushes forth along the ground, able to trip up foes. Abaddon Grub may look like a cute little baby buggy, but it will burrow in a brimstone nest in the ground, waiting to emerge as a hellfire-cloaked Abaddon moth! Black Widow dives down from above, ready to strike with a venomous bite. The Vortex Damsel generates a powerful gravitational focus, drawing foes closer to it.

Helper bugs fly alongside Fengzhu, attacking as he does. They can even be launched at foes and pummel them. Assassin Bee is the basic kind, Blade Hopper is weak but very fast, Bumble Blue is slow but strong, Lovey Butterfly has a homing effect and flies further, Ki Skeeter is weaker but steals vitality and stamina for Fengzhu, and Skull Wasp forgoes power to poison foes on hit.

Still a good gardener, Fengzhu can plant these flowers in the ground for special effects. Pillow Poppy is so drowsy, it makes nearby foes fall asleep. Venus Mantrap will (lovingly) chomp on any foe that comes near her. The fluid emitted by the Nectarwell heals Fengzhu's bugs and even speeds up the Abaddon's growth. The Rhythm Lily will give off a vibe that makes Fengzhu's stamina refill more.

Of course, his manual combat is no slouch. Stingers jut out from his elbows and knees, large mandibles form from his torso, and he wields Tonbogiri, a mystical spear with a sturdy butterfly net at the other end. This net is good for grabbing foes and deflecting projectiles.

For Lores, Fengzhu is able to call in a rushing swarm of bees, counter an attack by bursting into a mob of bugs, possess a foe to turn them into a cocoon, and even summon Queen Melissa to deliver a devastating strike.
